APR 24-MAY 23: WILD CAVE TOUR,
Mountain View
A four-hour guided trip into undeveloped portions of Blanchard Springs Caverns. Visitors will need sturdy boots and long pants, must be in good physical condition, and prepared to climb, crawl, and get dirty. The tour ends at the spectacular Titans formations. Participants must be at least ten years old. A responsible adult must tour with ten to twelve year olds. Open year round; tours by reservation only. APR 24-MAY 26: SUNSET LAKE TOURS,
Lake Village
Discover the unique history of the area, watch for wildlife, and enjoy a sunset on the largest oxbow lake in North America. If water levels permit, we will explore the cypress swamp. These cruises are offered most Thursdays through Saturdays and all holiday weekends. Start times vary. Reservations are required.

MAY 1-31: ARKANSAS HERITAGE MONTH 2008 CELEBRATION EXHIBIT,
Pocahontas
The Randolph County Heritage Museum has received a 2008 Heritage Month Grant for "The Life and Times of Gov. Thomas S. Drew." This exhibit will detail Drew's life which was filled with adventure and controversary. Drew is the only Arkansas Governor elected from Randolph County.

MAY 1-31: STEP BACK SATURDAYS: PIONEER TOYS,
Little Rock
See how they did it in pioneer days. Saturdays March-October bring pioneer life ways to the historic grounds, showing you the how and the why of 1800s living. Each month presents a different theme. The half-hour presentations are open to the public free of charge, or can be seen as part of a historic house tour at no additional cost. Times: 10:45, 11:45, 1:45, 2:45, 3:45.

Eureka Springs
During the entire month of May Eureka Springs celebrates the art in our lives…from painting and music to dancing and art-cars! Also we will be having our Spring Art Contest, Yard Art Contest and TWO parades! The month will be full of events for all ages. The theme of the 2008 Festival is "Springs of Inspiration."
