The River Market Continued.......
Residents
and visitors alike can enjoy a spectacular backdrop view of
the Arkansas River and Riverfest Amphitheatre.
Two uniquely
constructed, spacious pavilions can easily and comfortably accommodate
seating for more than 1,000 people. It's not unusual to find
these booked on weekends -- for open-to-the-public entertainment,
special events and cultural activities.
Each is also
ideally suited for corporate functions, wedding receptions,
class reunions, church picnics, fundraisers and birthday parties.
"When we opened we had 10 permament vendors," Jeffery recalled.
Today the Market
Hall houses 17 permanent merchants who offer a growing list
of year-round specialties: oven-baked pastries and breads, hand-roasted
gourmet coffee and specialty drinks, mouth-watering barbecue,
fresh-cut flowers plus down-home to exotic cuisine.
